I started Grey Ghost Veterinary Services to bring advanced orthopedic procedures to Bishop, California, and it has grown from there. At its core, GGVS is about providing exceptional surgical and medical consultation services while building real relationships with pet owners. I believe there’s rarely just one “right” answer in veterinary medicine. My goal is to meet you where you are—balancing medical expertise with your values, your pet’s needs, and what’s realistically best for your situation. Together, we make thoughtful, honest decisions for your pet as a member of your family.

With a focus on trauma, advanced orthopedic procedures, and soft tissue surgery, I aim to provide high-quality care that is both accessible and practical. Just as important as the procedure itself is making sure you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way. I take pride in offering care that is not only technically precise, but also compassionate and individualized.
I have been practicing as a general practitioner at Bishop Veterinary Hospital since graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. My interests in mechanisms of disease and anatomic pathology naturally led me toward advanced surgical procedures. Over the years, I’ve pursued additional specialty training and mentorship through hands-on labs and seminars to continue expanding my expertise in orthopedics, soft tissue, minimally invasive surgery, and general medicine.

While I am committed to expert surgical technique, I am equally committed to doing what’s right for each individual animal. I’ve built a network of specialists and colleagues so that, if a case would be better served elsewhere, I can help guide you to the best option. I only take on cases where we all feel comfortable moving forward together—because trust, communication, and your pet’s well-being always come first.

My wife and I live in Bishop, California with our family of two Weimaraners (the real “Grey Ghosts”), Stanley and Lennard, and our tortoise, Guinevere. Being a pet owner myself deeply shapes how I practice—I understand the bond you have with your animals and how much they mean to your daily life. We are proud to serve the Bishop community and surrounding areas, helping ensure that every animal receives the thoughtful, high-quality care they deserve.
In my free time, I enjoy trail running through the beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevada as well as mountain biking with the whole family (except Guinevere, who prefers to stay home!).
